TraVerse Core Rulebook version 0.9.7.9 is live!
I want to take a moment to thank everyone who has snagged a copy and supported the game so far. I know I speak for the whole dev team that it's a pretty surreal feeling to know that complete strangers are now buying and playing this game that we've been making and playing for so long. Welcome to the TraVerse player community, we are truly honored to have you.
This latest version of the Core Rulebook features awesome new art for the Feats chapter by Dmitriy Kuzin. In addition, the Operative and Nomad got a bit of love, with new abilities and a general deep polishing pass. Operative has moved to the 5-tier level gates for its activated abilities, bringing it in-line with the Solder and Nomad.
Due to playtester feedback, initiative checks, grapple checks, and combat maneuvers now have critical success results on a natural 20, and critical failures on a natural 1. Burst and Full-Auto firearm mechanics also got a balancing pass, and were adjusted to be generally higher risk, higher reward when using those fire modes.
